Why Might I Need A Smile Makeover?

Some patients have dental problems that require comprehensive treatment, carefully planned with a vision of a final result that improves both function and esthetics. These patients may exhibit multiple missing teeth, numerous teeth with large fillings that are failing, widespread decay, cracked or broken teeth, or gum problems that threaten teeth. In other cases, the patient may have dental damage from acid reflux or acidic things in their diet, badly worn teeth due to bruxism (teeth grinding), or damage from drug use or neglect. That’s okay—we don’t judge. Let us help you.

What If I Have A Disorder or Pre-Existing Condition?

In rarer cases, patients come to us with conditions such as Ectodermal Dysplasia, Amelogenesis, or Dentinogenesis Imperfecta, conditions that affect the development of teeth, making them prone to crumbling and decay. These patients may need extensive restoration of their teeth and could be candidates for a full mouth rehabilitation.

What Types of Dentistry Does a Smile Makeover Utilize?

Rehabilitation can include all the modalities of restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, onlays, bridges, veneers, dental implants, dentures, and partials. For some patients, specialties like oral surgery, periodontics (gum treatment), and orthodontics may be employed to facilitate the best possible outcome.
